Tyler Krause

Founder & Private Wealth Advisor

Rae & Co Capital was founded by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Tyler Krause to bring disciplined, transparent financial guidance grounded in the psychology of money. With more than 15 years in insurance and financial services, a Master's in Psychology from Arizona State, and a track record of building and selling businesses, Tyler built the firm on a simple belief: most money decisions are driven by behavior, not math. As an independent advisor, he helps clients coordinate investments, planning, and insurance around one clear strategy — with assets custodied at Charles Schwab and meetings available virtually.

Virtual by design

The firm is virtual because the client’s life is not built around an advisor’s office.

A premium virtual model should feel easier, tighter, and more intentional — not distant. The relationship is built around access, clarity, and the ability to make important decisions from wherever life and business are happening.

Access

Meet without geography becoming the constraint.

Intro calls, planning reviews, and follow-up conversations are handled virtually so clients can stay focused on the decision, not the commute.

Workflow

Keep the work organized between meetings.

The relationship is structured around clear next steps, document review, implementation items, and review rhythm.

Portals

Use provider access where it belongs.

Investment account access stays with Schwab. Insurance account access stays with Mutual of Omaha. Rae & Co does not collect portal credentials.

Review

Stay current without waiting for an annual office visit.

Markets, income, business obligations, family needs, and coverage questions change. The model is designed for regular review, not once-a-year theater.

Advisory work

Four disciplines. One coordinated financial view.

The value is not another product pitch. The value is knowing how portfolio, income, planning, and protection decisions affect one another before a move is made.

Planning areas

Each area shows what Rae & Co reviews, what the client receives, and when that work matters.

Who it serves

For clients with real obligations, not theoretical goals.

Business owners, families, professionals, and retirees often need one thing most: a clear view of how financial decisions affect each other.

Owners

Business owners

Personal wealth, company liquidity, key-person exposure, continuity, and income planning tied together.

Retirement

Pre-retirees and retirees

Income timing, investment risk, reserves, and the high-cost decisions that happen around retirement.

Families

Families with dependents

Protection, education, beneficiaries, cash flow, and long-term planning handled as one picture.

Professionals

Busy professionals

Compensation, savings, investments, insurance, and major decisions organized without adding complexity.

How it works

A clean virtual path for serious financial work.

The process is direct: identify the decision, organize the moving parts, make the next steps clear, and review the plan as life changes.

Diagnose

Start with the decision on the desk: retirement timing, portfolio structure, insurance fit, cash flow, or a business/family transition.

Architect

Connect investments, income, liquidity, protection, taxes, family priorities, and business obligations into one view.

Coordinate

Turn recommendations into an implementation sequence with clear ownership and timing.

Review

Keep the plan current as markets, laws, income, family, and business needs change.

Client access

Direct portal access for clients.

Use the custodian or carrier portal directly. Rae & Co should never ask clients to enter Schwab or Mutual of Omaha credentials into a Rae & Co form.

Credential reminder: never send passwords, account numbers, policy numbers, or sensitive financial data through a contact form.
